I had such a wonderful experience. The atmosphere felt warm and inviting, and the decor was charming, and the place had a really pleasant vibe. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. I was a solo diner and they were quick to point out that I was over ordering, and I really appreciated that as they prevented me from wasting food. I ordered the jamon Iberico and queso semi curado de oveja, along with jerez dulce creem and they were all absolutely delicious. It was fun watching the staff slice the ham right in front of you. I’m already looking forward to coming back and trying more from their menu. Highly recommend this spot to anyone who loves great food and a welcoming dining experience!

We had an awesome time at Matador Tapas Bar! It's exactly what we were looking for in Madrid. The tapas were fantastic—super tasty and authentic—and the prices were really good for the quality you get. We loved the ambiance too, just a really great, lively vibe that felt very welcoming. There was one small hiccup where the waiter forgot a couple of the things we ordered, but they were really apologetic and it all got sorted out in the end, so it was totally fine. It didn't spoil the experience at all. We left really happy and would definitely go back

We walked past this small but charming bar with my friend around dinner time and decided to give it a try — and it turned out to be the right choice! We ordered a mix of ham, some sangria, and beer. The waiter brought us cheese and bread as well, and everything was absolutely delicious . The ham paired with the cheese and bread was just perfect. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and even though the bar is small, the atmosphere was great. I’ll definitely come back here the next time I’m in Madrid!

Cute local bar with warm vibes and friendly staff! Reasonable prices and drinks came with a free tapa. You can choose the portions of your draft beer and food. E.g. Tapa or 1/2 Racion or full Racion. The morcilla was nice!

One of the best eats in Madrid for jamón and salchichón. Albóndigas De Ternera En Salsa were so good. Place is a bit cramped but worth of squeezing in. Love the interior a lot.

Visitors love the generous tapas like ham, cheese, anchovies, empanada, and meatballs, paired with affordable wine, sangria, or vermouth. The narrow, quirky decor and lively music create a genuine Madrid atmosphere, popular with locals and tourists. Very good staff, friendly and quick service. Staff receive consistent compliments for friendliness and quick service. Prices offer great value, with drinks around €3-4 including high-quality snacks. Get the sangria jar for 12€ !
